With nightly from http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/nightly/core/master/ still
the same behavior.
Your screen cast is showing correct steps to verify this issue. Inserted paths to image
are starting with "/" as are mine but in my IDE images are not shown maybe Linux
problem?

1. Import HTML 5 project from JBoss Central
2. Open index.html page
3. Drag&drop some image from img subdirectory to source part of VPE
ERROR: Dropped image is not shown in visual part of VPE. Inserted img tag contains src
attribute starting with '/'. Once this character is removed image is properly
displayed in visual preview.
