I asked Maksim, he said it's preferable to use default mechanism without additional changes if it's possible. We don't use Project Preferences with its project-specific metadata storing. I've tried File > Export > General > Preferencies > Export All. Once I've got properties imported well but no more. I'll research it. When I manully put file from the first workspace to new one properties are found. I think I'll reserch how I would be able to obtain saved resources setting in a new workspace without doing big changes into current saving mechanism.
