Denis Maliarevich commented on JBIDE-3211:
------------------------------------------
To Denis:
I had this idea. I asked Maksim, he said it's preferable to use default mechanism
without additional changes if it's possible.
To Max:
There is an article in eclipse wiki:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_How_do_I_store_extra_properties_on_a_resource%3F
Now Persistent Property is used in jbide. We don't use Project Preferences with its
project-specific metadata storing.
I've tried File > Export > General > Preferencies > Export All. Once
I've got properties imported well but no more. I'll research it. When I manully
put file from the first workspace to new one properties are found. I think I'll
reserch how I would be able to obtain saved resources setting in a new workspace without
doing big changes into current saving mechanism. If it is hard I think it will be better
to use .setting and project metadata.
Add possibilities of settings travelling

Key: JBIDE-3211
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-3211
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Visual Page Editor core
Affects Versions: 3.0.0.beta1
Reporter: Yura Zhishko
Assignee: Denis Maliarevich
Fix For: 3.1.0
If I create a project with settings using Page Design Options in one WorkSpace and when
import it to another WorkSpace I lose all data from options. It's not comfortable to
print all settings again manually.
