And <ui:include> when it's placed into <h:panelGroup> is displayed in a single cell. After removing <h:panelGroup> that surrounds <ui:include> <h:panelGrid> puts each of root elements of the included paget into new cell. VPE creates top wrapper <div> element for <ui:include> tag. All content of the included page is placed inside this <div>.
