Enter the following in a html page:
"that will make it"
put the cursor in the visual part just after "make", e.g. "make| it"
before the space pressing delete result it "maket" deletes the first character
of "it" instead of the actual spaces.
putting the cursor before the "e", e.g. "mak|e" and pressing deletes
result it "makit", removing both the e and the spaces.
