New Seam XYZ wizards fails silently if seam runtime is somehow wrong

For some reason all preferences about seam runtimes was gone after creating a couple of
wizards (will create another issue for that)
and now the seam wizards just finishes without doing anything.
We need to guard the code against such things - remember this could happen if the user
deleted his runtime or removed the seam dir physically on disc.
