Max Rydahl Andersen updated JBIDE-2325:
---------------------------------------
Issue Type: Feature Request (was: Bug)
Thinking about this one I can only see this happening if you both click Deploy File to
server and Deploy the archive to server.
That will result in two different deployments (as shown in the ui).
I can see how that is misleading to the user and we should find a way to avoid it.
e.g. why do we need to different ways ? Could we validate when doing one that a second one
is not "conflicting" ?
Multiple deployments viewed in server view
------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-2325
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-2325
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: JBossAS
Affects Versions: 2.1.0.GA
Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen
Fix For: 3.0.alpha
Attachments: servers.png
bbeloff reports:
If you select "Deploy to Server" against an ear file, then it will sometimes be
shown correctly under the server(in the servers view). Sometimes it appears twice, with
two different icons.
This seems to be a problem in the way the Servers view works - the view reports that an
EAR file is deployed twice, though it actually isn't.
