Same thing on Linux. Passing "-data <path>" to jbdevstudio launcher works,
but no selection pop-up by default

When you install JBDS 9.0.0.Alpha2 nightly (including Eclipse Mars M6) and then you start
it, it won't ask you for workspace and simply use the default. This applies to OS X.
This is probably caused by the changes in
