Viacheslav Kabanovich commented on JBIDE-1655:
----------------------------------------------
Yes, project behaves truly bad when .settings/org.jboss.tools.jst.web.xml is missing.
I will think how to improve it or at least to log message.
I have never seen that file .settings/org.jboss.tools.jst.web.xml disappeared on
actions in Eclipse, if it can be done, we need such a sequence.
The best way to repair project if this file is missing, is to remove manually
declaration <nature>org.jboss.tools.jsf.jsfnature</nature> from .project file,
and then after reopening Eclipse 'Add JSF Capabilities'. Manual editing of
org.jboss.tools.jst.web.xml should be avoided.
As to specific attributes in this file, our inner model needs a base folder in a web
project, since we started without and long before WTP, we used to set it to WEB-INF.
Cannot add new files to Seam project

Key: JBIDE-1655
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-1655
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Bug
Components: core
Affects Versions: 2.0.0.GA
Environment: Windows XP SP2
JBoss Tools 2.0GA with Eclipse 3.3 Europa
Reporter: Chris Simons
Assigned To: Viacheslav Kabanovich
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 2.0.1
Attachments: jbosstools-diagnostics-20080128135249.zip, screenshot-1.jpg,
screenshot-2.jpg, unable to create XHTML file.jpg
Since upgrading to Seam 2.0 runtimes within JBoss Tools, I am only able to create new
XHTML files by copying an existing file and renaming it.
Please see screenshot.
I can specify the folder by using "Browse" or typing it in myself; I then type
in a file name.
The messages is always: "Cannot create file in specified folder."
