Max Andersen updated JBIDE-1176:
--------------------------------
Component/s: UpStream
Fix Version/s: 2.1
Affects Version/s: 2.0.0.Beta4
Known Dali issues:
1) it assumes default schema is your username for databases it doesn't know better
(e.g. mysql) so you won't get code completion unless you explicit specify schema and
you will get validation warnings since it can't finde the tables with the bogus
default
2) I'm seeing alot of exceptions because of this bug:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=207444 (which we probably can workaround)
3) Gavin says he is seeing it looking up for src/META-INF/persistence.xml which is an
issue for us with multiple src dirs; I haven't been able to reproduce this though
4) Dali only support one project, not multiple
5) Dali only supports WTP projects, not plain java projects.
Make Seam Web Project support the JPA facet
-------------------------------------------
Key: JBIDE-1176
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBIDE-1176
Project: JBoss Tools
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: UpStream
Affects Versions: 2.0.0.Beta4
Reporter: Gavin King
Assigned To: Max Andersen
Fix For: 2.1
This is not a super-high priority, since the JPA support in Eclipse is kinda lame, but
New Seam Web Project should support the JPA facet by default.
Currently, however, there is some kind of problem where the JPA validator flags
persistent classes as "does not belong to any persistence unit". So it needs to
be told where the persistence unit is, somehow.
