For info - I talked with [~mickael_istria] about the concerns and we boiled it down to a few fixes could go a long way mainly that the exceptions thrown when the install goes bad should be more informative. i.e. instead of "text not found" say: "Expected Confirm dialog not found, found "Selection Needed" dialog" instead. I still think p2 headless installer is great for testing the consistency of our p2 repos before staging - for that we dont need install-grinder. But we do need installgrinder to find issues with central - ie.. it actually failed and took a screenshot of central connector missing.
