Available profiles are now inferred from the projects parent hierarchy. Corresponding use
case is when a property is defined in a parent profile. In order for the children modules
to use the same property, they must activate the same profile as their parent.
The source folder indicates :
- the artifactId declaring the profile
- "multiple definitions", if several projects declare the same profile id
- settings.xml if the profile is defined in settings.xml
- undefined, if the profile is manually set in Projet properties > Maven > Active
Maven Profiles and no matching profile has been found in the defined profiles.

Primary usecase for us: Arquillian users have to go through project preferences to toggle
profiles to enable/disable arquillian classpath containers.
Challenges:
When applying to an aggregator pom, should ask user if he wish to add/remove the same
profiles on aggregated modules
UI suggestions:
run/debug style combobox's with dropdown to easy enable/disable often used profiles
IAM style view for enable/disabling
