We launch it with the default options (like jboss run.bat does out of the box afaik)
To adjust it up Right click the server in Jboss server view and choose Edit launch
configuration.
Here you can see the default arguments like when you launch tests etc. put your permgen
settings into VM arguments and it should be picked up.
Make sure JBoss is launched with a big permgen

Where does JBoss AS get its permger size from when launched via Eclipse?
This issue may already have been addressed, but just in case it has not, make sure that
JBoss is run with the permgen settings recommended here:
