Nick Boldt commented on JBIDE-13283:
------------------------------------
I've akamai'd these release folders:
http://download.jboss.org/tools/static/releases/JBossTools-4.1.2.Final.core/
http://download.jboss.org/tools/static/releases/JBossTools-4.1.2.Final.co...
Then I symlinked the content from here, so it can appear in both the old location and the
akamai'd location:
http://download.jboss.org/tools/updates/JBossTools-4.1.2.Final.core/
http://download.jboss.org/tools/updates/JBossTools-4.1.2.Final.coretests/

I tried to do a similar thing w/ the JBT TP, JBDS TP and Central TP, but unlike the
existing targetplatforms folder [1], the static folders [2] and [3] are not writeable!
[1]
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/targetplatforms/jbosstoolstarget/ (note: folder
name is singular)
[2]
http://download.jboss.org/tools/static/targetplatforms/
[3]
http://download.jboss.org/tools/static/targetplatforms/jbosstoolstargets/ (note:
folder name is plural)
So, for now, the latest TPs will have to stay here:
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/targetplatforms/jbosstoolstarget/4.3...
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/targetplatforms/jbdevstudiotarget/4....
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/targetplatforms/jbtcentraltarget/4.3...
Use Akamai for Target-Platform, Mirror, releases stuff

Key: JBIDE-13283
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-13283
Project: Tools (JBoss Tools)
Issue Type: Enhancement
Components: build, target-platform, updatesite
Reporter: Mickael Istria
Assignee: Mickael Istria
Fix For: 4.2.x
All our repositories that are either mirrors or target-platform are not updated often.
Then we could use Akamai to improve performances. At least these folders would be good:
*
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/requirements/
*
http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/stable/
