Xue, you write Done but there is only a commit for 3.2.x visible.
If already fixed by other means in trunk then all is fine, what is left is just to resolve
this issue in jira.
If not fixed, then it should also go into trunk and then you can resolve this issue.

While at the F2F meetings at EclipseCon 2010, it came up (again) that the
repainting/layout updating of the two graphical areas takes far too long to finish. We
need to find another way to do that or possibly just turn off the repaint on the canvas
prior to redoing the layout and then turning it back on. The animation is not really
necessary.
