org.eclipse.wst.common.component in your .settings seems to be what causes this problem.
For me it was because there was a change in it from another developer's commit that I
didn't resolve. Once I updated or reverted the file so that it would parse correctly
the error went away.

Quick Fix is available for this error, but does not fix it. I Googled the internet, but
was unable to find anything applicable to this issue.
