Sorry for the late update - be careful what mail filters you mail. You may miss the

SEAM 2.2.2.EAP5 - the one that ships with JBDS4.
To followup on some of the other issues I reported, this is what makes it quite
confusing/difficult for an outsider to find out what module to report an issue against.

When creating entities from scratch, the "Create SEAM Entity" wizard will
generate code with the the following:
@Version
private Integer version;
This construct unfortunately results in new records being created with NULL in the
version column. On subsequent updates this then results in NullPointerException.
Changing Integer to int solves the problem.
