The bugs were that the model was 100% reloaded from disk upon a manual file change, but
the view was not updated appropriately.
This caused weird model errors on future edits.

There seems to be no way (besides restarting Eclipse) to refresh the Project Archives
view after a manual modification of the .packages file.
It is sometimes very convenient to edit the .packages file directly.
