JBDS 4.0.0.v201009221221N-H220-Beta1: New URL site is registered but Project Example Site has name "JBoss Tools 3.1 Comunity Examples" probably version should be changed to version 3.2. Only Teiid Designer Example is included in this site.

JBT 3.2.0.v20101003-0642-H98-Beta1: New URL is not registered. Has to be added as User Defined Project Examples via Window>Preferences> Project Examples. There is defined Project Example Site with name "JBoss Tools 3.1 Comunity Examples" but this site contains no Teiid Designer Example. Maybe reason is that in JBT is included org.jboss.tools.community.project.examples plugin which registers http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/examples/project-examples-community-... site.

The "Resource" perspective was open at the time. The first thing I did was open the "Teiid Designer" perspective so that appropriate actions, views, etc. would be available while working with that example project I just imported. It would be nice if the Project Examples framework, after the project was imported, either automatically switched to, or asked the user if they wanted to switch to, a specified perspective. This specified perspective could be identified in the examples XML file. Per Max, it might "be possible to reuse/mimic new project wizards preferred perspective option."
