When you edit a search path in Preferences -> JBoss Tools -> JBoss Tools Runtime Detection, after changing the path you are immediately shown a window "Searching for runtimes..." and it seems the new path is really searched, but in fact nothing happens - no runtimes are found. Only when you click Cancel and then Refresh the runtimes are found.
