I would like this to be driven first from a metadata perspective. Then we can decide what if any enhancement we work into the runtime side - such as being able to use field accessors complex.field, rather than a json/xml/array extraction function. We need to decide if the feature will be tied to the xsd type model - the initial indication from Barry is no. What features will we support for simple type faceting?
