Antonio, the problem is that the config mechanism would need to be plain old java. In the
best case even without classpath scanning.
We need it during the boot time of the container (CDI and all other EE components boot
time) so we cannot use CDI mechanics.
If you look at DeltaSpike you will see that ConfigResolver just uses plain static methods.
This is the only way we can use the config mechanism during boot time, e.g. to exclude
classes in ProcessAnnotatedType, etc.
The CDI part are only a few producers on top of it. We really need some common ground for
configuration, but I don't think the CDI spec is the place where it should be
handled...
