Pete Muir commented on CDI-156:
-------------------------------
I don't believe we need any clarifications here. CDI 1.0 says in 3.1 "The basic
lifecycle and semantics of managed beans are defined by the Managed Beans
specification."
The Managed Beans specification says in MB.2.1.5 "A Managed Bean may use interceptors
as defined in the Interceptor specification.", where section 2.1 of Managed Beans
"describes the basic component model for Managed Beans. This is the minimal set of
requirements for Managed Beans implementations." (so interceptors as defined by the
interceptor specs are required for the basic component model of Managed Beans, which CDI
provides).
Finally the Interceptors spec requires support for @Interceptors.
Clarify that bindings by @Interceptors as defined by Interceptors 1.1
spec are applicable to CDI managed beans
