I raised this with the Java EE spec leads, and they indicated that there is no Java EE
integration for JMX at all, so this is too large an issue for Java EE 7. Deferring as a
result.

get support of @Inject by using MBeanServer managed MBean/MXBean objects.
Example:
To get the number of all processed jobs just use @Produces at a method like
getTotalCount() and use @Inject in the MBean implementation to get the count value
