AS7-4940 isn't directly related, but impacts whether the extended persistence context
inheritance will be simple single level (shallow) or multiple level (deep). The [JPA 2.1

or directly managed by the clustering layer (on AS). For this purposes of CDI-162,
I'm more concerned about whether clustering is possible. I think different
application servers would have to implement their *own* API that accomplishes
passivation/clustering solution that includes managed beans as if they were stateful beans
(IMO).
