Max Rydahl Andersen reassigned JBDS-2470:
-----------------------------------------
Assignee: Rob Stryker
The code for understanding EAP installations is broken.
The implementation done for JBIDE-10688 did not follow the instructions laid out in
http://lists.jboss.org/pipermail/jboss-as7-dev/2012-January/005017.html about how
product.conf has a slot to points out the right folder to look in.
Instead it is hardcoded that the slot *must* be "eap" (see: the bug is here:
https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-server/blob/master/as/plugins/or...)
That is bad assumption and will cause this kind of breakage with JPP, SOA-P etc.
We should fix that.
