Hi Richard+Daniel! Thank you for your very prompt responses! I tested the patch with an homebuild ESB 4.6 - and it looks fine. I swichted JBossESB Metro to homebuild stack/metro/branches/ropalka - as it seemed that AS 5.1 relies on newer SPI+COMMON - only present in 3.1.2-native/cfx... I will look into this tomorrow and file a bug if this is the case... Hi Sasan, what are you working on? If you are building ws endpoints or clients, all you need is basically in the JAXWS/JAXRPC specs plus few additions documented at http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/JBossWS-UserGuide#JBossWS_Extensions If you need to do something on top of the JBossWS integration with the AS instead, you'd probably need some kind of documentation regarding the jbossws-spi / jbossws-framework. Besides what is available at http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/JBossWS, you might want to generate the javadoc from the sources (including the jbossws-spi, jbossws-framework, jbossws-common). ESB have to use only the classes from jbossws-spi.jar to properly integrate with JBossWS offerings. Hi! Trying to deploy JBossESB 4.6 on JBossAS 5.1 using JBossWS 3.1.1/Metro - I noticed that ESB is using : org/jboss/ws/metadata/umdm/UnifiedMetaData which only is part of JBossWS-native. Is this package only supposed to be in 'native' ? or Is JBossESB doing something wrong ?? Thanks, you are correct, but does this mean that these functionalities are deprecated? or if not, can you please point me to the latest api doc? I have downloaded the latest GA and I can't find them there. This might seem a bit silly but I can not find the jar that includes these packages. org.jboss.webservice ref: http://docs.jboss.org/jbossas/javadoc/4.0.4/webservice/ I have JBoss 4.2.3 and JBossws-cxf-3.1.1 I also looked into JbossWS-cxf-3.1.2 JBossWS.sar also doesn't include these packages. I appreciate if someone can tell me which package I should get?
