[JBoss JIRA] (RF-13139) popupPanel duplicated if double clicking links for opening popup
by Pavol Pitonak (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-13139?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.s... ]
Pavol Pitonak reassigned RF-13139:
----------------------------------
Assignee: Brian Leathem (was: Pavol Pitonak)
Brian, I could reproduce in Metamer (master branch) without Spring.
# deploy Metamer and open http://localhost:8080/metamer/faces/components/richPopupPanel/rf-13139.xhtml
> popupPanel duplicated if double clicking links for opening popup

> Affects Versions: 4.3.1
> Environment: tomcat 7, Richfaces 4.3.1.Final, Spring, JSF Mojarra 2.2.0

> If you create a link/button/jsFunction that should render popup panel and open it after that and will try to double click this link the two instances of the same popup panel will appear. And you will be able to close only one of them. The other will remain on the page forever.
> I've attached zip with maven and eclipse project that can be used for reproducing the issue.
> I tested on Tomcat 7.0.41.

[JBoss JIRA] (RF-13154) a4j:push fails with CNFE for org.apache.coyote.http11.upgrade.UpgradeInbound on latest EAP 6

RH Bugzilla Integration commented on RF-13154:

Rémy Maucherat <rmaucher(a)redhat.com> made a comment on [bug 1001854|https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1001854]
Using "org.apache.coyote.http11.upgrade.UpgradeInbound" as the test there should work better: https://github.com/Atmosphere/atmosphere/blob/atmosphere-1.0.x/modules/cp...
It's not using the Tomcat 7 websocket anyway, it does its own upgrade.

[JBoss JIRA] (RF-13161) rich:notifyMessages CSS incorrect on MyFaces 2.x
by John Yeary (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-13161?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.s... ]
John Yeary commented on RF-13161:
---------------------------------
The issue seems to be focused around the NotifyMessageRendererBase which sets the severity level based on the ordinal value.
{noformat}
private void addMessageSpecificAttributes(MessageForRender message, FacesContext facesContext, UIComponent component,
Map<String, Object> options) {
Boolean showSummary = (Boolean) component.getAttributes().get("showSummary");
Boolean showDetail = (Boolean) component.getAttributes().get("showDetail");
String stackId = NotifyRendererUtils.getStackId(facesContext, component);
boolean escape = true;
if (component instanceof AbstractNotifyMessage) {
escape = ((AbstractNotifyMessage) component).isEscape();
}
if (component instanceof AbstractNotifyMessages) {
escape = ((AbstractNotifyMessages) component).isEscape();
}
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
options.put("severity", message.getSeverity().getOrdinal());
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
if (showSummary != null && showSummary) {
options.put("summary", escapeValue(message.getSummary(), escape));
}
if (showSummary != null && showDetail) {
options.put("detail", escapeValue(message.getDetail(), escape));
}
if (stackId != null && !stackId.isEmpty()) {
options.put("stackId", stackId);
}
}
{noformat}
which later is misinterpreted by the JS and sets it to the next higher severity level since MyFaces is not zero based.

[JBoss JIRA] (RF-13160) Refactor the InputNumber* components into abstract classes

Two attributes of spinner didn't work - oninputclick and oninputdblclick so I fixed them. Class AbstractInputNumberSpinner is in package org.richfaces.ui.input.inputNumberSlider, shouldn't we move it to package inputNumberSpinner?

> The InputNumberSpinner and InputNumberSlider components are generated via xml in a faces-config.xml file. While this is clever, it means we have two components that are created differently from all the others, making them harder to manage. Additionally the xml is not conducive to refactoring, and the method relies on an xml format for shared attribute definitions, making it difficult to move forward with RF-12952.
> I propose re-implementing those components as Abstract components, like the majority of other RichFaces CDK components.

[JBoss JIRA] (RF-13108) rich:calendar nested a4j:ajax event not firing
by Francesco Croci (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-13108?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.s... ]
Francesco Croci edited comment on RF-13108 at 8/30/13 5:01 AM:
---------------------------------------------------------------
Related to this problem (i'm trying to apply this example(http://relation.to/12480.lace) from Ilya) I noticed the following:
- if the days table is not present, no event is fired. As soon as the table is there and you choose a day, the event is fired (at least handleEvent is called and the bean value is set,
but still no alert pops up). But this happens only the *first time* you select a day and as long as you don't change the month, no other events are fired.
Here is my calendar code:
<rich:calendar
id="billPeriod"
value="#{adminModel.billPeriodForSAP}"
popup="false"
showWeekDaysBar="false"
showFooter="false"
datePattern= "MM-yyyy"
oncurrentdateselected="alert('Hello')"
locale="#{adminModel.locale}">
<a4j:ajax event="change" render="out" listener="#{adminModel.handleEvent}"/>
</rich:calendar>
<h:outputText id="out" value="-- #{adminModel.billPeriodForSAP}"/>
I'm using richfaces 4.3.3, glassfish 3.1.2.2 and firefox 23
I hope this could help as I really would bring the Ilya's example to work by me...

> nested a4j:ajax change event isn't functioning as expected. On "change" event, the expect result is that the value is moved into the target Date field of the backing bean. When using a4j:ajax, this does not happen.
> After speaking with ppitonak he believe that the order of the ajax with relation to the validators was import. however after closer inspection, the value wasn't making back to the bean even when the event was fired even with the order reversed.
> Logically the first date should be submitted to the backing bean on change even and made available for validation in the second dates validator. works with f:ajax.. doesnt work with a4j:ajax.

[JBoss JIRA] (RF-13108) rich:calendar nested a4j:ajax event not firing
by Francesco Croci (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-13108?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.s... ]
Francesco Croci edited comment on RF-13108 at 8/30/13 5:02 AM:
---------------------------------------------------------------
Related to this problem (i'm trying to apply this example(http://relation.to/12480.lace) from Ilya) I noticed the following:
- if the days table is not present, no event is fired. As soon as the table is there and you choose a day, the event is fired (at least handleEvent is called and the bean value is set,
but still no alert pops up). But this happens only the *first time* you select a day and as long as you don't change the month, no other events are fired.
Here is my calendar code:
<rich:calendar
id="billPeriod"
value="#{adminModel.billPeriodForSAP}"
popup="false"
showWeekDaysBar="false"
showFooter="false"
datePattern= "MM-yyyy"
oncurrentdateselected="alert('Hello')"
locale="#{adminModel.locale}">
<a4j:ajax event="change" render="out" listener="#{adminModel.handleEvent}"/>
</rich:calendar>
<h:outputText id="out" value="... #{adminModel.billPeriodForSAP}"/>
