> Components: component-output
> Affects Versions: 4.5.0.Alpha3
> Environment: Wildfly 8.0
> Latest Chrome/FF

> The attribute 'zoom' does not work, setting it to true has no effect and user cannot zoom the chart. This attribute is only available for line chart.
> I created Metamer samples of charts for 4.5.x where this can be tested (only manually for the time being).
> This works in RF 5, so this has to be connected to backporting charts component (RF-13583) to 4.5.x.

[JBoss JIRA] (RF-13698) RF 4.5 Chart title does not render
by Matej Novotny (JIRA)
Matej Novotny edited comment on RF-13698 at 7/3/14 5:24 AM:

The commit resolving this issue causes another bug (regression).
The title is rendered correctly but you cannot invoke server-side event.
Eg. in [Metamer example|http://localhost:8080/metamer/faces/components/richChart/simpleLine.xhtml] while clicking on a plot, there is no server side event.

Shouldn't we keep the issue opened until we make this fully working? While trying to zoom now, a rectangle is drawn, but no zooming happens.
As for listener, if you mean any listener implemented by user (or handler), than there is nothing needed, all user needs is a line chart with zoom=true.

[~bleathem] charts public API still wasn't backported. We reopened this issue to track this hence I think we should keep it open until we address this.

I've corrected the client-side so the zoom selection works. However, if I understand correctly, the zooming itself must be implemented by a listener of some kind. [~lukindo] can you confirm this for us?
