Nick Belaevski updated RF-2323:
-------------------------------
Fix Version/s: 3.2.1
(was: 3.2.0)
Mouse over input in dropDownMenu causes NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING
in Firefox
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: RF-2323
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-2323
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 3.1.4
Environment: Firefox 2.0.0.12, MyFaces 1.1.5 / Tomahawk 1.1.6, Facelet
Reporter: Paul Iov
Assigned To: Pavel Yaschenko
Fix For: 3.2.1
Attachments: screenshot.jpg
In 3.1.4GA NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING is thrown 3 times after mouse entered the
input's rectangle and then 3 times on mouse out. After this menue becomes not hidden
even if mouse pointer leaves the menue rectangle. Normal "behaviour" is then
restored again on any successfull mouseover event of menue. Another side effect is that if
this happens inside of shown menuGroup (see screenshot ), this group becomes hidden, but
the focus remains by focused input (if some was focused) and the keyboard events are still
sent to it.
Henady has proposed how to fix it for contextMenu in menu.js (
http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=130502 ), but this
doesn't solve the problem with dropDownMenu completely (after this the exception is
thrown 2 times and not 6 as before).
