I have been facing this issue with the jquery AJAX page updates:

(it seems PrimeFaces deals with the same problem) It's not noticeable to the end user
but errors show up in the iPad javascript debugger console. It may end up causing us
problems simply by using jquery on mobile devices

On developer console there is an JS error logged after refresh of the main page of the
mobile showcase. The error *is not rendered until the html submit is done*. Since than
after every refresh there is an JS error logged.
