There is a simple patch for this case, reported to sarissa tracker: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2779320&group_id... However, nobody in Sarissa project takes care for submitted patches since 2005. It is easier to patch rg\ajax4jsf\javascript\scripts\AJAX.js independently.
