the web.xml for Seam 1.2 section contains:

<param-name>org.ajax4jsf.VIEW_HANDLERS</param-name>
<param-value>org.jboss.seam.ui.facelet.SeamFaceletViewHandler</param-value>
</context-param>
However, it should not, since SeamFaceletViewHandler was removed from Seam as of v1.3.0
(see https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBSEAM-1367).
