Rafal Kowalski reopened RF-3066:
--------------------------------
I spent time to find the cause of this mysterous problem, so:
<h:form id="aaa">
<rich:comboBox directInputSuggestions="true" defaultLabel="Enter some
value" id="combo0">
<f:selectItems value="#{test.list}"/>
<a4j:support event="onselect" reRender="combo0"/>
</rich:comboBox>
</h:form>
Test:
public List<SelectItem> getList() {
List<SelectItem> list=new LinkedList<SelectItem>();
list.add(new SelectItem("aaa"));
list.add(new SelectItem("bbb"));
list.add(new SelectItem("ccc"));
list.add(new SelectItem("ddd"));
list.add(new SelectItem("fff"));
/*List<SelectItem> list=new LinkedList<SelectItem>();
list.add(new SelectItem(" aaa bbb "));
list.add(new SelectItem("bbb ddd "));
list.add(new SelectItem("ccc eee "));
list.add(new SelectItem("aaa bbb ccc "));
list.add(new SelectItem("www-aaa bbb "));
*/
return list;
}
And with this uncommented list is everything ok, but when we will use the second list,
then problem appears.
Please comment if you can reproduce bug.
Problem with rerendering combobox
---------------------------------
Key: RF-3066
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-3066
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 3.2.0, 3.2.1
Environment: IE 6, Firefox 2.0.0.13, myfaces 1.2.2 and facelets
Reporter: Rafal Kowalski
Assigned To: Anton Belevich
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 3.2.1
Attachments: screenshot-1.jpg
I have code like this:
<rich:simpleTogglePanel height="200px" switchType="ajax">
<rich:comboBox directInputSuggestions="true" defaultLabel="Enter some
value" valueChangeListener="#{eRegCriteria.sugDocts.onSelectListener}"
id="combo">
<f:selectItems
value="#{eRegCriteria.sugDocts.doctorsList}"/>
<a4j:support event="onselect" reRender="combo"/>
</rich:comboBox>
</rich:simpleTogglePanel>
and after item's selecting, I can't expand combobox by click on arrow.
By typing it doesn't work too.
Only one (chosen) item is visible in combobox.
Tested on Firefox 2.0.0.13 and IE 6.
FireBug shows that div combolist is ok but it has property display:none every time.
I tested it more and I observed that it occurs only when combobox is located on
<rich:simpleTogglePanel>
