James G commented on RF-10964:
------------------------------
I can still reproduce this in IE and Firefox.
Instead of using the mouse, you can use the home key to move the cursor from the end of
the edit box to the beginning.
Try these steps:
1. Open the above url.
2. Under the title "3) With the selectFirst attribute..." type the letter
'a' in the edit box.
3. Select "Alabama" using the mouse (the first item in the list)
4. Press home
5. Press and hold the delete key while the contents of the edit box are erased.
6. You should now see the list open with states that start with the letter 'm' as
in "Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts"
7. If you type a letter in the edit box like 'd', the states starting with
'd' do not appear. Whenever you clear the edit box, the states starting with
'm' appear again.
autocomplete delete key behavior creates inconsistent state
