aj4:support cannot be used to validate rich:calander.
-----------------------------------------------------
Key: RF-996
URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-996
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 3.1.0
Reporter: Chris Rudd
The following can be used to valdiate the date entered manually, but there is not a way to validate when the date is "picked"
<rich:calendar value="#{bean.date}" enableManualInput="true">
<a4j:support event="oninputchange" reRender="..."/>
</rich:calendar>
There should be an event that is fired any time the date is changed, reguarless of the input method.
NOTE : ondateselect is not applicable as its not notification that the date was changed, it is allowing a hook to see if the date selection should occur.

a4j:commandLink and h:commandButton doesn't work in data iteration components (rich:dataTable, rich:scrollableDataTable)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: RF-1609
URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-1609
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 3.1.2
Environment: richfaces-3.1.2.SP1, apache-tomcat 6.0.14, mozilla-firefox-2.0.0.8-1mdv2008.0
Reporter: Ivelin Velkov
Priority: Critical
There is a bug in the data iteration components, the bug can be reproduced by following these steps:
1. open a page in your browser with an empty datatable in it.
I use the following datatable definition in the page:
(the currencyRatesBean#getRates method returns an empty list at this step)
<rich:dataTable id="rateTable" value="#{currencyRatesBean.rates}"
var="rate" rows="50" style="align:center; text-align:center"
rowClasses="align:center; text-align:center">
<f:facet name="header">
<h:outputFormat value="Currency rates" />
</f:facet>
<rich:column id="actionColumn">
<f:facet name="header">
<h:outputText value="Action" />
</f:facet>
<a4j:commandLink id="remove" action="#{currencyRatesBean.remove}"
value="delete" reRender="rateTable" />
</rich:column>
</rich:dataTable>
2. Rerender the datatable component and populate it.
I do it this way:
<a4j:commandButton styleClass="button"
value="Fetch" reRender="rateTable"/>
(the currencyRatesBean#getRates does not return an empty list at this step)
Clicking on the commandLinks in the populated datatable doesn't invoke their action methods.

[JBoss JIRA] Created: (RF-1710) ajax4jsf version of tidy parser removes "redunant" whitespace in selection option id's and values

ajax4jsf version of tidy parser removes "redunant" whitespace in selection option id's and values
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: RF-1710
URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-1710
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 3.1.3
Reporter: Rajeev Chandrasekaran
The tidy parser seems to remove whitespace characters in select option id's and values. In my case, I had a value like "my company" where there are 2 spaces between "my" and "company". Although the 2 spaces were properly rendered when the page was first rendered, after submitting the page (which had other validation errors), the same page rendered again (because of the validation errors) but with 2 spaces between "my" and "company" consolidated down to just a single space.
If I set the following property (literal-attributes=true) in a user-specific tidy.properties in the classpath, the problem goes away. I noticed that this property is commented out in the tidy.properties that ships with richfaces.

Call the menu through mouseover. Then just leave the menu without overing any items. It will not collapse.
