[JBoss JIRA] Created: (RF-2835) Calendar control sets the time in the backing bean value only if you select first the time and after that the date and not if otherwise.
by Mario Balaban (JIRA)
Calendar control sets the time in the backing bean value only if you select first the time and after that the date and not if otherwise.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: RF-2835
URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-2835
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 3.1.4
Environment: Jboss 4.2.2GA
Reporter: Mario Balaban
<rich:calendar id="scheduleCalendar"
value="#{definitionManager.scheduledDate}" popup="false"
datePattern="d/M/yy HH:mm" showApplyButton="true" >
<a4j:support event="ontimeselect" reRender="scheduleCalendar" />
</rich:calendar>
<a4j:commandButton value="Submit"
action="#{definitionManager.schedule}">
<a4j:support event="onclick"
onsubmit="new Effect.BlindUp($('mainForm:bubox'), {duration:.3});" />
</a4j:commandButton>
When you click on some date the selected date and time (12:00 and not the current) appears in the footer facet of the control. If you try to change the time the new value is rendered in the footer but is not set in the backing bean value when you click the "Submit" button, instead 12:00 is always set. Otherwise if you first select the time and only after that select the day and click the "Submit" button, the backing bean value have date and time correctly assigned.

OrderingList and ListShuttle: selection under plain skin
--------------------------------------------------------
Key: RF-1969

Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 3.1.4
Environment: JSF 1.2

First.
1. Set plain skin.
2. Click any row.
=> Frame appears around the row.
3. Ctrl+click this row.
=> Nothing changes in the row appearance. Buttons are disabled and selection doesn't work.
Second.
On Shift+click impossible to see what rows has been selected.
Third.
When using buttons to move the selected row the row's border disappears and it is very difficult to see what row is being moved. It doesn't happen when using Ctrl+up/down keyboard keys.

columns: changed data isn't rendered under Safari. So impossible to add or remove some columns or rows.

URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-3573

Environment: Safari(3.2.1.CR8)

There are two input fields on the page, that define number of lines & rows in dataTable with rich:columns inside.
Step 1. Use following code to add input fields:
<h:outputText value="Enter quantity of lines [data 1]" />
<h:panelGroup>
<h:inputText value="#{columns.length1}" />
<h:commandButton action="#{columns.addNewItem1}" value="ok" onclick="submit();"></h:commandButton>
</h:panelGroup>
<h:outputText value="Enter quantity of lines [data 2]" />
<h:panelGroup>
<h:inputText value="#{columns.length2}" />
<h:commandButton action="#{columns.addNewItem2}" value="ok" onclick="submit();"></h:commandButton>
Step 2. See addNewItem1 & addNewItem2 methods in Java bean:
public void addNewItem1() {
if (length1 < 0)
length1 = 0;
if (data1.size() > length1)
for (int i = length1; i < data1.size();)
data1.remove(i);
else
for (int i = data1.size() + 1; i <= length1; i++)
data1.add(new Data(i, "data 1 [" + i + "]", "Button " + i, "Link " + i, "select" + (i % 5)));
}
public void addNewItem2() {
if (length2 < 0)
length2 = 0;
if (data2.size() > length2)
for (int i = length2; i < data2.size();)
data2.remove(i);
else
for (int i = data1.size() + 1; i <= length2; i++)
data2.add(new Data(i, "data 1 [" + i + "]", "Button " + i, "Link " + i, "select" + (i % 5)));
}
Step 3. See code of rich:dataTable with dynamic columns inside:
<rich:columns value="#{columns.data2}" var="d2" ... columns="#{columns.columns}" index="index" ...>
<f:facet name="header">
<h:outputText value="header #{d2.int0}"></h:outputText>
</f:facet>
<h:outputText value="#{index}. "></h:outputText>
<h:outputText value="#{d1.str0}, "></h:outputText>
<h:outputText value="#{d2.str0}"></h:outputText>
<h:outputLink value="http://www.jboss.com/"><f:verbatim>Link</f:verbatim></h:outputLink>
<f:facet name="footer">
<h:outputText value="footer #{d2.int0}"></h:outputText>
</f:facet>
</rich:columns>
</rich:dataTable>
Step 4. Navigate to page & verify number of dataTable rows & columns.
Step 5. Change data for two input fields , described above & press "ok".
Step 6. Verify verify number of dataTable rows & columns again.
Actual behavior:
Number of columns & rows remains previous. Everything works fine under FF, IE & other browsers, except Safari.

[JBoss JIRA] Created: (RF-3369) PickList does not work properly inside modalPanel

PickList does not work properly inside modalPanel
-------------------------------------------------
Key: RF-3369
URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-3369
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 3.2.0
Environment: Suse 10.0
Reporter: Vikram Chhetry
Hi,
i have a pickList inside a modal panel which does not work properly.
Issues:-
1.) When I select an item and move it to the right the last item in the left is lost.
2.) When I copy all item to the right and remove them and then again select 1 item from from the list and say submit, the value is posted twice.
3.) When I select all the items and press submit the values are submitted multiple times. Ex: If selected item are 3 the all the item will be submitted 3 time and 4 for 4 and 5 for 5..........
Is it a bug or I am doing something wrong?
