[JBoss JIRA] (RF-12899) Deadlock appears in push component
by Nicola Nick (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-12899?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.s... ]
Nicola Nick commented on RF-12899:
----------------------------------
I try to reproduce in my test environment but is never happened.
In any case i'm using the 4.2.3.Final, but on this Wednesday i will put in production an upgrade of the webapp that uses the 4.3.0.Final.
I hope that this can solve the problem.
For you upgrading to the 4.3.x can fix it?

[JBoss JIRA] (RF-12943) ExtendedDataTable: filterType custom and clearing of filter input doesnt work correctly
by Daniel G (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-12943?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.s... ]
Daniel G commented on RF-12943:
-------------------------------
Issue persists with RF 4.3.2.Final.
There is a simmilar issue with custom sortings (see description here: https://community.jboss.org/message/823397)
At least there's a workaround:
You have to ignore all setYourFilterPropery-Calls during RENDER_RESPONSE phase.
{code}if(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getRenderResponse()){
// do nothing
}
{code}

> According to my appended test project:
> I have a simple extendedDataTable with one column (firstName) with a filter input component within the header. This is the default filter input created by the extendedDataTable. The second column (city) has a filterType="custom" and an inputText componenent within the header. The filterType attribute with value "custom" is ignored because the default input text is rendered too.
> The second problem with the input filter is that I can't clear this filter input text components by a a4j:commandButton. The table is correct filtered but the filter input text fields are not cleared.

[JBoss JIRA] (RF-12978) collapsibleSubTable ignores rowClasses
by Jiří Štefek (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-12978?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.s... ]
Jiří Štefek commented on RF-12978:
----------------------------------
Well, I don't think that dataTable behaves different in this case. There are theirs standard columns styles for comparison:
{code}
.rf-cst-c {
/* cst=colapsibleSubTable */
background-color: #FFFFFF;
border-bottom: 1px solid #C4C0C9;
border-right: 1px solid #C4C0C9;
color: #000000;
font-family: Arial,Verdana,sans-serif;
font-size: 11px;
padding: 4px;
}
.rf-dt-c {
/* dt=dataTable */
color: #000000;
font-family: Arial,Verdana,sans-serif;
font-size: 11px;
}
{code}
If we are talking about just the background color, than as you can see the dataTable's style for column don't have background-color, so the background-color will be inherited from row (parent), but other style properties will be overridden by the default skinning of the component (as with the collabsibleSubTable).
*Also notice that dataTable and collapsibleSubTable don't have defined styles for rows, so the defined @rowClasses will always apply.*
More about the dataTable x collapsibleSubTable:
If you try, e.g. in the example I've put here, to set the dataTable's @rowClasses to the same as for the collapsibleSubTable, but enhance the styles (and don't override the rf-dt-c), e.g:
{code}
.oddRow{
background-color: #B6AD84;
font-size: xx-large;
}
{code}
You can see, that the font-size will still be 11px (rf-dt-c) and not its much larger version.
Where's the problem?
When you use:
{code}
<h:head>
<h:outputStyleSheet name="css/localCssFile.css"/>
</h:head>
or
<h:head>
<link to external css style/>
</h:head>
{code}
the rendered page's head will look like this (in example provided here):
{code}
<head>
<link with user style/>
<link with rf skinning/>
<link with packed styles of the RF's components/>
</head>
{code}
So, the RF's styles will override all other styles (for its components) (they are the last, the last css style to apply).
*This can be fixed by putting the user defined styles AFTER the RF's styles in the HEAD [verified]. But who knows what problems can it bring, since it influences all components.* <<< for [Brian Leathem|https://issues.jboss.org/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=bleathem]
You should workaround this by placing the <link> (or <h:outputStyleSheet>, the resource will be placed after other styles in the head) in the <h:body>.

[JBoss JIRA] (RF-13061) r:fileUpload stops working: "Request prolog cannot be read"
by Juergen Zimmermann (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-13061?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.s... ]
Juergen Zimmermann commented on RF-13061:
-----------------------------------------
Stuart, AFAIK RichFaces is depending on Mojarra 2.1.x, and not 2.2.0. Therefore, I added Mojarra 2.1.23 according to https://community.jboss.org/wiki/DesignOfAS7Multi-JSFFeature from Stan Silvert. Also I set Mojarra 2.1.23 as the default JSF impl.

[JBoss JIRA] (RF-13061) r:fileUpload stops working: "Request prolog cannot be read"
by Stuart Douglas (JIRA)
[ https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-13061?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.s... ]
Stuart Douglas commented on RF-13061:
-------------------------------------
I can't reproduce this against Wildfly upstream, instead I am hitting another stack trace that looks like it may be a JSF bug:

> I just tried r:fileUpload with the current snapshot for WildFly 8.0.0.Alpha2 (changed Mojarra 2.2.0 to 2.1.23). It actually looks pretty good. However, I'm getting this stacktrace for fileUpload:
