[JBoss JIRA] (RF-13193) Rename the resource library to account for RF 4/5 resource overlap
by Brian Leathem (JIRA)
Brian Leathem created RF-13193:
----------------------------------
Summary: Rename the resource library to account for RF 4/5 resource overlap
Key: RF-13193
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/RF-13193
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Task
Security Level: Public (Everyone can see)
Components: resource handling
Reporter: Brian Leathem
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 5.0.0.Alpha2
Rename the RichFaces resource library name to something like: _org.richfaces.ui_, or _org.richfaces.widgets_. This will allow RF 4 and RF 5 components to co-exist when resource names overlap.

[JBoss JIRA] (RF-11103) org.richfaces.skin = plain causes java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Width (2000) and height (0) cannot be <= 0
by Brian Leathem (JIRA)
Brian Leathem resolved RF-11103.
--------------------------------
Resolution: Done
I implemented a skin method to return the image URL, and "none" for the plain skin. All the skinning ecss files were adapted to use this method.
I'd appreciate any feedback on the success of this fix at eliminating the reported error. Particularly from those who have implemented custom skins on top of the plain skin.

> nested a4j:ajax change event isn't functioning as expected. On "change" event, the expect result is that the value is moved into the target Date field of the backing bean. When using a4j:ajax, this does not happen.
> After speaking with ppitonak he believe that the order of the ajax with relation to the validators was import. however after closer inspection, the value wasn't making back to the bean even when the event was fired even with the order reversed.
> Logically the first date should be submitted to the backing bean on change even and made available for validation in the second dates validator. works with f:ajax.. doesnt work with a4j:ajax.
