Riccardo Serafin commented on RF-6234:
--------------------------------------
I had a similar problem, and I'd like to share the workaround I had to put in place
which is related but not the same.
It turns out my problem was related with the fact that as values i was returning a
collection of my own column description objects, not just the property names. As such, my
declaration was something like:
<rich:columns value="#{columns}" var="column"
sortBy="#{row[column.property]}" sortOrder="#{column.sortOrder}"
id="#{column.property}>
what was failing wasn't the sort by, or the id/index, but the sortOrder that is not
able to resolve the additional level of indirection on the column object. I had to
introduce an additional Map<Object,Object> sortOrder and change the declaration to
sortOrder="#{sortOrder[column]}". Now it works.
I'd still appreciate a fix to resolve the regression.
Thanks very much,
Riccardo.
Columns: sorting/filtering features don't work when
"id" is not explicitly assigned (WAS: Columns: sorting/filtering features dont
work)
