Nick Belaevski commented on RF-7939:
------------------------------------
2Doc: added initialization parameter 'org.richfaces.executeAWTInitializer' to
disable AWT-related initialization functionality (see RF-4471 for more) in the
environments where access to AWT is restricted (e.g. Google App Engine)
Support breaking out static resources, and making it possible to
serve them statically from a different http server

Key: RF-7939
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/browse/RF-7939
Project: RichFaces
Issue Type: Feature Request
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: build, CDK, component, core, performance, skinning
Affects Versions: 3.3.2.CR1
Reporter: Jay Balunas
Assignee: Nick Belaevski
Fix For: 4.0.0.Milestone2
In 3.3.X this is a very difficult and untested. For large high volume production servers
this can make serving resources much faster.
We do need to be careful of resources that are generated dynamically at runtime though -
some of these will not be able to be served this way.
