Few words of explenation. I'm by far not an RichFaces internals expert but I search through the suggestionbox.js looking for any lines of code setting the zindex value. This attribute is being set only on two lines. Both of them set it to a predefined value (200 and 201 respectively). This does not take under consideration the zindex attribute of the suggestionBox tag. The values 200 and 201 might in some cases be sufficient. Therefor i think you could not reproduce this bug. Fact is it does exist as you can see in the attached screenshot. The workaround mentioned for RichFaces 3.1.4 works too in 3.2.0.
