Fix For: 4.0.0.Milestone3
Works fine (no EL in event handler):
<a4j:ajax id="inputAjax" event="click"
oncomplete="alert('complete event')">
<h:commandButton id="commandButton" value="Submit" />
</a4j:ajax>
But when I change the oncomplete to EL expression:
oncomplete="#{'alert(\'1\')'}"
or any other expression generating such JavaScript, it isn't processed:
<a4j:ajax id="inputAjax" event="click"
oncomplete="#{'alert(\'complete event\')'}">
<h:commandButton id="commandButton" value="Submit" />
</a4j:ajax>
Also the reverse variant with a4j:ajax nested in a4j:commandButton works fine:
<h:commandButton id="commandButton" value="Submit">
<a4j:ajax id="inputAjax" event="click"
oncomplete="#{'alert(\'complete event\')'}" />
</h:commandButton>
