So why allowing thhem to work together has been skipped? Documentations has short sentence "Sorting could not be used together with pagination. Only row that currently on the client could be sorted" and my teammate noticed strange behavior of these two geatures when used together (paging ceased to working after some different sorting actions). I bet it's not because it's impossible (AFAIR you have example data models implementations which can work with Hibernate-managed paging).
