I tested a little more on this issue and found out something that might be helpful.
My experience is that sometimes if you click multiple times on the scrollbar or scroll
fast by dragging, the scrollbar position changes when the data comes back from the server.
This for example means that though I scrolled to the end of the list the scroll position
sometimes moves back to some position in the middle of the list where it again only
sometimes remains.
To my experience this exactly coincides with the list being corrupt and selecting rows
giving me rather unpredictable results.
If it does not get clear what I mean, I can try to record this strange behaviour via Wink
and upload it as a Flash-File.

The scrollable data table on the live demo does show wrong selections if scrolling fast.
This does not happen always but quite often if you do not scroll step by step but scroll
down to end of the list at once.
I tried this also on my own and I found out that this only happens if
"rows"-attribute is less than the number of entries that are being displayed -
thus it is an ajax update issue. It does not happen if you scroll step by step by clicking
the arrows of the scroll bar, it does not happen in the first n rows whereby n=value of
"rows"-parameter.
