Try the following code in Firefox 3.0.11. I'd like to note that there is no such issue in IE 6/7. <rich:modalPanel showWhenRendered="true"> <rich:scrollableDataTable width="200" height="100"> <rich:column> <f:facet name="header"> COLUMN </f:facet> </rich:column> </rich:scrollableDataTable> </rich:modalPanel> I don't want you to close issue due to workaround, because domElementAttachment="parent" isn't always acceptable.
