We encountered this issue in our project today. Turning on compatibility mode isn't
really an option either as that has its own range of quirks and problems. I'd also
classify this as a major issue, seeing as it gives a very unprofessional impression if you
have a lot of functionality using drag and drop. Hopefully this will get fixed soon.

drag any item and move it over drop zones without drop.
I'm able to see very low performance(in difference with FF3 and worse than in IE7)
and in some moment(vertical cursor movement over drop zone) item gets dropped without
mouse button releasing.
