A regular "fast" click selects the item as expected. This behavior is visible in the live demo: http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/suggestionBox.jsf 1) type something into the input box that displays a suggestion list. 2) press and hold the mouse button for 1/2 second or so. 3) watch the list disappear but the component doesn't populate the input with the selected item.
