"myDecorator:myComponentId") one cannot use : <r:hotKey key="esc" handler="doSth()" selector="##{r:clientId(myComponentId)}" /> Since jQuery does not understand colon. We must escape it : <r:hotKey key="esc" handler="doSth()" selector="##{r:clientId(myComponentId).replace(':','\\:')}" /> I would be nice if it was supported out of the box. Thanks
