Bind this link & inplaceInput component following way: <rich:componentControl attachTo="cancelID" event="onclick" for="inplaceInputId" operation="cancel"></rich:componentControl> Step 3. Navigate to the page. Step 4. Click on inplaceInput(showControls="true"). Step 5. Enter something in component's input box. Step 6. Click on "cancel()" link. Step 7. Verify inplaceInput value.
