It looks like I'd been using the wrong way to get the selected table data. I browsed on here yesterday and changed my implementation slightly so it sets the tables row key and asks the table for the row data. If I don't use the a4j:keepAlive tag, the selection behaves well, but the scrollable data table headers disappear. If I do use the a4j:keepAlive (which all of my pages rely on, so I need to use if possible) the selection is incorrect when re-sorted. Thank you in advance Victoria
